The Village of Breton with a population of 579 is a small community within easy driving distance of major centres such as Edmonton, Drayton Valley, Leduc, Red Deer, and Wetaskiwin. Breton offers the “down home” hospitality and friendliness that can only be found in a rural community.
The Village of Breton is located in Brazeau County at the junction of Secondary Highway 616 (east/west) and Highway 20 (north/south). It is 108 km southwest of Alberta’s capital city, Edmonton, and 58 km southeast of Drayton Valley.

Outdoor recreation is excellent with several lakes nearby offering camping, fishing, swimming and skating. Snowmobiling, horseback riding and cross country skiing are also popular.
